On the American Frontier, young cowboy Harrison wishes to settle down and build a life with his love Daisy, an ambitious woman looking to please her uncle, the Marshal of Thomasville. But Harrison and his brother moonlight as stagecoach robbers to survive, which puts his plans in jeopardy - plus talk of a notorious outlaw in town pushes Harrison to question his ideals, his identity, and ultimately, his future, as long buried secrets soon come to light. Vultures bite off more than they can chew down by the grave river.
The Halcyon Room presents 'The Birds of Grave River', a tense family drama set in the Old West, and the highly-anticipated new production from the award-winning company, returning to the Greater Manchester Fringe this July after the success of their previous show 'Elysium' in 2025.
